I am a caring mom of three spirited boys who loves teaching kids of all ages. I received my B.A. in Music from UC Berkeley, and obtained a French teaching certification in Utah, Pennsylvania, and California. I taught French at American Fork Junior High School and American Heritage Academy in Utah, at Northwestern Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy, and at Fort Bend High School online, and I taught a summer French class and have created a summer French camp for elementary-aged kids, and have been a private French tutor and singing coach. I was also a short term private French tutor for a student taking classes remotely. Most recently, I taught a Music class in French at Petite Library Language and Cultural Center. I was a co-teacher for all three of my sons’ home preschool co-ops. I love working with people to achieve their goals and seeing the joy of accomplishment. I strive to be student-focused, catering the curriculum to the person’s unique interests and needs. I love being with my kids, serving in my Church, singing, playing piano and learning guitar, volunteering at my kids’ school as Room Rep, library helper, PTA secretary; jogging, hiking, swimming, dancing, yoga, gardening, cooking, traveling, and making treats for friends.

All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience. Should you ever feel that these lessons do not match your expectations, please contact us to receive a refund on your remaining balance or to be matched with a different instructor.
