LESSON FEES: $45 for a 30-minute lesson $55 for a 45-minute lesson $65 for a 60-minute lesson SUBJECTS: Psychology, General Writing, Essay Writing, Creative Writing, College Application Essay, Literature, Grammar/Spelling, Reading Comprehension, Reading, Math Concepts/Intervention, Art of Problem Solving, Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Elementary Science, Health, Life Science, Physical Science, Biology, Physics, Social Studies, Subject Guide COACH BIO: Heather has 25 years experience in teaching, 19 of those homeschooling her 5 children. Two are in college now - the first is pursuing degrees in physics and global studies at UC Berkeley and the second is studying political science and psychology at San Diego State, while the youngest ones are still homeschooled. Having attended UCLA for undergraduate and graduate school and earning a degree in molecular and cellular biology, science and math are a specialty. After many years of creating and teaching her own homeschool curriculum, she is able to supply and teach curriculum in all subjects. Group classes are a result of 15 years of experience refining the best ways to teach children of all ages. Students are able to master grade appropriate work as well as successfully complete advanced course work if they choose.
Important Notes
All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience. Should you ever feel that these lessons do not match your expectations, please contact us to receive a refund on your remaining balance or to be matched with a different instructor.
