About this Coach
LESSON FEES: $55 for a 30-minute lesson $70 for a 45-minute lesson $85 for a 60-minute lesson SUBJECTS: Reading COACH BIO: Laura has served as a 1st grade teacher at St. John Vianney Academy in Bakersfield where she also taught a 3rd-4th grade class and served as a long term substitute for 4th-5th graders. Prior to teaching at the homeschool hybrid, Laura homeschooled her four daughters. During those years, she received training from Dianne Craft, Linda Mood-Bell, and Equipping Minds. Laura previously taught 1st graders at the Universal American School in Kuwait. Today she is a private tutor, working alongside her students ages 6-60s as they have fun playing games and doing exercises that improve their cognitive skills. Laura has current CA teaching credentials in Multiple Subjects and Learning Handicaps.

All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience.
