About this Coach
LESSON FEES: $55 for a 30-minute lesson $70 for a 45-minute lesson $85 for a 60-minute lesson SUBJECTS: Reading COACH BIO: Laura is a first grade teacher at St. John Vianney Academy where she also taught a 3rd-4th grade class & served as a long term substitute for 4th-5th graders. Prior to teaching at the Catholic classical homeschool hybrid, Mrs. Halbur homeschooled her four daughters. During those years, she received training from Dianne Craft, Linda Mood-Bell & Equipping Minds. She is a private tutor, working alongside her students as they have fun playing games and doing exercises that improve their cognitive skills. Mrs. Halbur has current CA teaching credentials in Multiple Subjects and Learning Handicaps. She lives with her husband & daughter in Bakersfield.

All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience.
