About this Coach

LESSON FEES: $50 for a 30-minute lesson $60 for a 45-minute lesson $70 for a 60-minute lesson IN-PERSON LESSON LOCATIONS: Burbank SUBJECTS: Painting, Art, Essay Writing, Creative Writing, College Application Essay, IEW Curriculum, Literature, Grammar/Spelling, Reading Comprehension, Geography, History, Social Studies, World History, European History, Sewing COACH BIO: Amazingly, I am 60 years old, and I joyfully grew up in Australia. I homeschooled my own four children for around 20 years. I began tutoring homeschool students when my youngest graduated. I was trained to teach IEW in 2009 and have taught many classes to homeschooled students in groups and individually ever since. My loves are writing, literature, geography, and history. Now I have five grandchildren and enjoy helping them learn to read, write, and do math too.

Important Notes

All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience. Should you ever feel that these lessons do not match your expectations, please contact us to receive a refund on your remaining balance or to be matched with a different instructor.
