About this Coach
LESSON FEES: $55 for a 30-minute lesson $70 for a 45-minute lesson $85 for a 60-minute lesson SUBJECTS: Economics, Government, World History, Geography, Subject Guide BILINGUAL IN: Spanish COACH BIO: I grew up in San Jose, CA where I began teaching for East Side Union High School District in 2012. Life brought me to Los Angeles in 2016 where I began teaching for Alhambra Unified School District soon after. I’ve been in the K-12 classroom since 2008, but spent the majority of my time as a high school history teacher. I received my bachelor’s from Hawaii Pacific University (2007), credential from San Jose State University (2010), and went on to get my master’s in Teaching Social Studies from Teachers College, Columbia University (2011). I have been supporting families through a homeschooling charter for over 4 years and am homeschooling my own children. When I'm not teaching I am training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or hula, and watching my children progress in their activities as well! IMPORTANT NOTE: This amazing instructor is also a dedicated teacher with Suncoast Prep Charter School which means she unfortunately cannot accept purchase orders from Suncoast students due to the conflict of interest.
Important Notes
All cancellations or schedule changes must be made directly with the instructor by 6 p.m. the night before a lesson to avoid a full lesson penalty fee. Some instructors may provide you with written notification outlining a different cancellation/penalty policy. This policy will supersede Home School Coaches’ policy. We truly want these lessons to support your educational goals, so feel free to share your expectations with your coach; this will enable them to provide you with a uniquely customized learning experience. Should you ever feel that these lessons do not match your expectations, please contact us to receive a refund on your remaining balance or to be matched with a different instructor.
